Bug of the Week

Bible Memory
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message Colossians 4:2-3a
(We will say our verse for two weeks. Verses will be due on March 21.)

Next Week

Bible: In our Bible time we will be focusing on Missions for the next two weeks. Our theme for missions this year is Ready, Set, Pray. We will be focusing on prayer and also on how we can tell others about Christ. (For more information, see the Missions letter from Mr. Burgess and the giving calendar.) Math: We will continue learning about shapes, solids (3D shapes), and fractions. Science: We will continue to talk about the seasons. Social Studies: We will discuss some of the symbols of the United States such as the American Flag, the Statue of Liberty, the Liberty Bell, and the Bald Eagle. Reading: We will be reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Our comprehension skill for the week is story retelling. We will also discuss the setting of the story. Handwriting We will continue to practice writing all the letters of the alphabet and our last names. Please also be working on this at home with your child.
