Math Reflection In our Pre- algebra class, we were learning about linear functions- specifically finding the slope

of a line. The slope is a line's rise over run. In order to find the slope, we had to get two points on the line. Then, we would find the difference of the y-coordinates, the rise, and the difference of the x-coordinates, the run. I got all the questions on the homework right. Because it was a review, they were especially easy. At tutoring, I have already done slope, so most of the unit was easy. Therefore, I got the scores I wanted. From what I learned in Pre- Algebra, I can use slope to find how steep a mountain is when I am skiing.
