ABSTRACT

A helico/ter rotor is /o8ered #y the en0ine& thro"0h the transmission& to the rotatin0 mast Main rotor systems are classified accordin0 to ho8 the main rotor #lades are attached and mo*e relati*e to the main rotor h"#2 There are three #asic classifications' ri0id& semi ri0id& or f"lly artic"lated& altho"0h some modern rotor systems "se an en0ineered com#ination of these classifications2
