Bug of the Week

Bible Memory
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message Colossians 4:2-3a

Next Week

Bible: In our Bible time we will continue focusing on Missions. Our theme for missions this year is Ready, Set, Pray. We will be focusing on prayer and also on how we can tell others about Christ. Math: We will continue to learn about solid shapes as well as symmetry and equal parts. Science: We will be talking about spring. Social Studies: We will discuss people working and what types of jobs people can have. Reading: We will read the story Abuela and our comprehension focus will be setting. We will also be reading Dr. Seuss books for the next two weeks. Handwriting We will be reviewing all the letters that we have learned so far. We are also continuing to work on writing words and sentences. This involves starting with a capital letter, using finger spacing, and using an ending mark (punctuation).

If you have not yet sent in your $7.50 for the Mothers Day Tea, please send it in sometime this week! Your child took home a Goldilocks and a bear puppet yesterday. Please have them retell the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears to you at home.
