Bible Memory

Next Week

Bible: We will be reading the story about Jesus healing the 10 Lepers. We will focus on the importance of having a thankful heart and remembering to thank Jesus for ways in which he helps us and answers our prayers. Math: We will continue to learn about solid shapes as well as symmetry and equal parts. We will be taking our Chapter 8 test. Please look for these in your childs folder. At the end of the week we will begin Chapter 9 which focuses on addition. Reading: We will continue reading Dr. Seuss books. Handwriting We will be reviewing all the letters that we have learned so far. We are also continuing to work on writing words and sentences. This involves starting with a capital letter, using finger spacing, and using an ending mark (punctuation).

Other Important Information

Your child will be taking home a prayer bag today. For the past two weeks we have been discussing different ways that we can pray to God. Please have your child explain what each of the items in their prayer bag represents and what that teaches us about prayer. IMPORTANT TIME CHANGE: Our Mothers Day Tea on May 8 will actually be starting at 1:50 instead of 2:00. Please mark the change on your calendars. Thanks!
