A solar house is a house the requires no energy or gas lines. In other words, it should not be a part of the grid. The only way these houses heat up and get light, is through the sun. Therefore, these houses use lots of windows, insulation, and have key features for surviving alone.

Why Make Solar Houses?

NO electricity or gas cost. Electricity cost $1,200 per year for each house Better for the environment. Dont need to use gases and electricity, which can cause environmental damage through green house gases. These gases can cause temperature rise. Only 150 years of fossil fuels left Can be placed almost anywhere, does not have to be part of city grid.
