What an exciting and powerful moment in the history of a national church! How amazingly the Holy Spirit came down and took control of the entire event, radically touching many church leaders from across the country! Bulgaria has never seen its churches plan together how to become missions SENDERS! Now they are beginning to organize for the cause of reaching our world with the message of Jesus! Last year, Ghita Ritisan (top center) and I (Rick Cunningham, (top right) came from Romania to help Ivan Vrachev, national superintendent of the Bulgarian A/G church (top left) gather a group of leading pastors to form the Bulgarian Penticostal Missions department, to put a definite focus on reaching the world with the power of the Gospel message! March 14-15 was the first fruit THE FIRST NATIONAL MISSION CONFERENCE teaching and believing God to open hearts of Bulgarians to take steps of faith in sending missionaries. We were amazed to find that we were to be the keynote speakers to help others follow the example of what God is doing in Romania.. In seven short years, we have now sent 47 full-time missionaries to the field. Working hand in hand with our AG missionary colleague in Bulgaria (who helped organize the conference), we saw God inspire a fresh vision to reach the lost! GOD IS MOVING! The Spirit is calling more workers! WE are privileged to be part of what HE is doing!

Interrupting two weeks of teaching young Romanians to be missions visionaries in our training center in Agigea, helping them learn from past kingdom workers how to operate in the power of the Spirit and studying the best methods for reaching the lost, we spent three days PRACTICING vision- casting in Bulgaria! God is wakening national churches around the world to do more in these days that ever before!
