Answer questions orally regarding text read. Highlight the past tense verbs in the text. 1. Teacher asks pupils to listen to the teachers reading. 2. Teacher test pupils understanding by asking questions. 3. Teacher then asks pupils to identify the past tense verbs used in the text (identify 20 sentences) 4. Discuss answers. Teacher asks pupils to draw the book cover.
