Title of the Project: Intelligent Network in wireless Telephony

network- Prepaid Application

In Today wireless network, prepaid mobile phones are offered by most mobile phone operators around the world. 95% mobile numbers are on prepaid and rest 5% only post paid numbers. The network operators are encouraging subscribers to migrate to prepaid, as it reduces process costs. The Intelligent 'etwork !pplication (art $I'!(% is a signalling protocol used in the intelligent network architecture. It is part of the **+ protocol suite, typically layered on top of T)!(. It can also be termed as logic for controlling telecommunication services migrated from traditional switching points to computer based service independent platform The Telephone exchange uses T)!(, *))( and I'!( and in I' terms is a *ervice *witching (oint. The main difference between Intelligent network method and earlier methods, is that the service logic is located in the *)( rather than in every single switch in the network, which allows for ,uicker and cheaper implementation.

The pro-ect deals with mastering on I'!( protocol and other I' elements . **(, I(, *T(, *)(, */*, *)0. )onfiguration of (repaid server and other corresponding network elements for prepaid subscriber. /onitor the call flow logic in the (rotocol analyser and compare the normal (ost paid subscriber with prepaid subscriber.
