Park Manor Neighbors Community Council
Invited Guests: 6th Ward Alderwoman Freddrenna Lyle, 21st Ward Alderman
Howard Brookins, Walmart representatives, the Openlands Project,
Elce Redmond of the South Austin Coalition, and more.
Over the past two months, GCA’s Walmart Committee has brought together a forum panel
that they feel can best answer your concerns: from jobs to traffic to union issues and any-
thing else that will impact our community if Walmart comes to our area.
The Greater Chatham Alliance is proud to sponsor this special event as we continually
address the needs of our community. Whether you are pro-Walmart or anti-Walmart, please
come out and participate in this forum. Or for that matter, any other events we sponsor. We
need your voice! As you can see on the other side of the flyer, three other community
groups are also involved–– so seating will be at a premium.
