Hard to pinpoint one cause
With so many symptoms, its difficult to find the one factor
that leads certain children to have ADHD Researchers found limited correlation between factors such as genetics and environmental factors Though some correlation to cause, researchers search for a clear answer

Multiple Causes of Disorder

Through studies many researchers conclude that
ADHD does not have one sole cause

Many causes and factors can affect whether a child has

the disorder

Looking more into whether ADHD is over diagnosed in

children

Over Diagnosis of ADHD

More and more realizing that ADHD in children is over
diagnosed in order to appease parents and teachers

Becoming more diagnosed throughout the years

which could negatively affect children (ie.- putting them on medication, special classes, etc.)

Must find real cause of childs behavior before too

quickly putting a label on them of ADHD

Conclusion of ADHD Findings

Many causes to the disorder and cant correlate ADHD
to just one factor

Doctors need to regulate the diagnosis more in order to

accurately assess a child

Too many over diagnosis to appease adults with their

children Ultimately could cause a negative affect on the child
