THE B-THRILD CHAPTER OVERVIEW FROM NOW ON**

How to complete your own B-Thrild

Step 1: Use chapter we are covering (chapter 6), write your name, class and
date on a lined sheet of paper. Clearly and neatly write down the following
titles for each step.

Step 2: B  Write down all the BOLDED words in the chapter

(vocabulary)

Step 3: T & H  Titles and Headings – within the chapters, you have
noticed by now there are always titles and then headings to break down the
information. Write down all the Titles and headings throughout this
chapter. Titles are in dark blue and Headings are in green. Write each like
this:

Step 4: R  Read first paragraph of the chapter and summarize (put it

into your own words and write the main idea).

Step 5: I Illustrations-- Look at the following illustrations and briefly

describe the picture and/or write a caption for that illustration.

Step 6: L  Last Page-- Read the End of Chapter on page 188 and
summarize into your own words.

Step 7: D Discussion Questions-- write down three relevant questions

that came to you while skimming this chapter.
