The media needs to be socially responsible in a number of ways and some of these are as follows.

During the crisis of war situations.

During the crisis of internal disturbances and internal emergencies.
When communal and caste conflict and riots erupt in the nation.
When the government launches massive welfare schemes.
In conflicts of religious nature among different sectarian leaders in the society.
Conflict between states over territorial dispute.
Reporting on a new invention in science and technology which promises to provide lasting
solution
Reporting on pharmaceutical and medical discoveries
Reporting on the plan process ,target ,goals and achievements
Reporting on agitation launched by sections of the society against the government

It makes youth of a country aware of global social changes, developments , innovations research
and experiments being carried out in various fields aiming at changing the very human existence
for betterment,etc. It inculcates in the youth the desire to learn more and more and imbibe the
fast changing technologies development processes while competing with each other.
Youth and media play a healthy role in a developing country. However, there are problems that
crop up from time to time in their relationship. These need to be resolved amicably in order to
benefit the ultimate public aspirations and expectations.
