Scalp
The scalp is a
multilayered structure
with layers that can be
defined by the word
itself:
S-skin
C-connective tissue
(dense)
A-aponeurotic layer
(galea aponeurotica)
L-loose connective tissue
P-pericranium

S : Skin
C : Close connective tissue jaringan lemak-fibrosa
A : Aponeurotic epicranium lembar tendinosa yang
menyatukan venter occipitalis
dan venter frontalis m. occipitofrontalis.
L : Loose connective tissue jaringan ikat longgar.
P : Pericranium periosteum yang menutupi permukaan luar
tulang tengkorak.

SENSORY NERVE SUPPLY
Six sensory nerve branches of
either the trigeminal nerve or
the cervical nerve supply the
scalp. Can be remembered by
Z-GLASS
Zygomaticotemporal nerve
Greater occipital nerve
Lesser occipital nerve
Auriculotemporal nerve
Supratrochlear nerve
Supraorbital nerve
