Job Description - Construction Superintendent

... Reports to the Drilling Manager. Represents the company and coordinates all construction related activities required to support the Drilling
Department, including drilling locations, access roads, camps, airstrips, road maintenance, clean-ups and environmental issues.
1.
Arranges surveying and staking of proposed well sites.
2.
Coordinate water well permitting and drilling.
3.
Organizes location scouting and reports results/recommends location moves.
4.
Arranges initial and final location surveys and correlates results.
5.
Prepares Scope of Work for drilling related construction projects.
6.
Prepares construction cost estimates for AFE preparation.
7.
Prepares documentation for various approvals prior to construction commencing.
8.
Prepares and issues construction tender documents.
9.
Analyses tenders and makes recommendations to management.
10.
Prepares work orders and obtains the necessary management approvals.
11.
Estimates and prepares documentation for miscellaneous construction projects.
12.
Receives correlates and consolidates daily field construction reports.
13.
Prepares and distributes Weekly Construction Reports.
14.
Coordinates activities of Construction Supervisors.
15.
Prepare PR and follow up orders for all water wells and construction related equipment (water pumps, pipe, pit liners etc)
