Job Description - Driller

Responsibilities:
1. The Driller is in charge of the actual drilling operations and supervises the drill floor crew, as well as the use and maintenance of the drilling
equipment.
2. He is responsible for safe working conditions on the drill floor and shall ensure compliance with current safety regulations.
Education:
High Scholl Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
6 years industry experience on either/or both fixed drilling installations or MODU's work. At least 4 years working in the North Sea.
Skills/Training:
1. The Driller shall have participated in a training course in the use of the drilling facilities and shall have passed a written test after the course.
2. The Driller shall be conversant with the Company's Well Control and Blowout Prevention Policy and Procedures and the Company's shallow gas
guidelines. He shall have a valid Well Control Certificate.
3. Other courses:
A. Well control and blowout prevention
B. H2S
C. Theoretical Contractor courses appropriate to position
D. Safety courses required to carry out work at site and in accordance with company policy and as required by country law and regulations
