Front Sight Installation
Screw-on Sights
Position the screw-on front sight in the slot of the slide.
Insert the fixing screw in the slot in the base of the front sight mounting
tool. (Fig. a)
Caution:
Metal or Night Sights:
before positioning the front sight in the slot of the slide:
Degrease the slide, sight and screw to remove any oil or solvents.
Apply thread locking type adhesive to the thread of the front sight.
Remove excessive amount of adhesive.
nghten screw/nut until it is snug (do not overtighten and break screw).
Adjust front sight if necessary. (Fig. b)
