Time to drain a reservoir

In this experiment we have two reservoirs that have same volume but different elevations we want to
find which reservoir by the same nozzle areas will drain earlier.
As we mentioned in chapter six of Fluid Mechanics for finding velocity from nozzle we use Torricellis Theorem (Vj=
).
Also we will compare the (Q-t) and (V-t) graphs of both reservoirs.

In this experiment for finding the velocity of jet we use this formula:

To find the time between two elevation drops we use this formula:

To find volume flow rate we use this formula:

Height = 2 m
Area of reservoir = (12) m2
