We at MAEER’s Maharashtra Institute of Technology (established 1983), introduce

Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology

Introduction

Computers have become inevitable part of the human life everywhere. There rarely
any faculty of life where Information Technology is not used. Information Technology
(IT), as defined by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), is "the
study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-
based information systems, particularly software applications and computer
hardware." IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to
convert, store, protect process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.

Our course will groom the students or working professionals to enhance their skills up
to the current expectations from the IT world.

Online examination will be conducted for above subjects.
Student will have to submit two assignments for each subject.
Online examinations carry 70% and assignments carry 30% weightage.

Exam Fee per Attempt :

For all the subjects First attempt exam fees @ Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 has to be
paid at the time of examination.

For Subsequent attempts the exam fees will be Rs. 200 per Subject / US $ 50 Payable
at the time of examination.

Total Fees to be paid in full at the time of admission in the form of Demand Draft
drawn in favour of "MIT School of Distance Education" Payable at Pune.

Duration : One year.

Note : Participant is expected to put in minimum ten hours of study per week.

Validity of registration : Two years.

Eligibility : Graduates of any discipline / Diploma in Engineering with two years

experience.
