Explanation: In this schedule, Ordinary Worker mean a worker who is not a physician, medical
practitioner, engineer, legal practitioner, teacher, architect, member of managerial or accounts staff in any
public or private office or organization or an employee of any embassy or diplomatic mission.
7. Fees.-(1) An application for the issue of a passport or travel document or for the duplicate or
renewal thereof or for an endorsement thereon shall be accompanied by the fee specified in
schedule IV to this Rules :
Provided that, no such fee shall be payable where such passport, document, duplicate or
renewal is necessary for a journey required by Government.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Rules, fee for the issuance of Travel
Document to the Bangladesh nationals for travelling back to Bangladesh from United Arab
Emirates (UAE) under the General Amnesty declared by the UAE Government shall be 20
Dirham (both Urgent and Ordinary) for the period of only from 03, January, 2003 to 03, April,
2003.
No. SRO 107-2/82-In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 17 of the Bangladesh Passport
Order 1973(P.O. No 9 of 1973) the Government is pleased to make the following further
amendments with Bangladesh Passport Rules 1974 namely:-
1. In rule 3 in sub-rules (1) of the words and comma Director, Immigration & Passports
shall be sub titled as Director General.
