RE : XU-CSG Students Rights and Welfare (StRAW) Chief Commissioner New Appointee

Upon the issuance of Memorandum 002-1415 last 4 April 2014, John Mark C Daaca was appointed as the
Students Rights and Welfare Chief Commissioner of XU-CSG, subject to the approval of the 21
st

Directorate. But due to some personal concerns, MrDaaca expressed his decision to discontinue his term
as StRAW Chief Commissioner this academic year.

Since Mr Daacas appointment was not yet confirmed by the Directorate, I am given the responsibility to
appoint the new StRAW Chief Commissioner in lieu of appointee mentioned above. With this, I am
pleased to present and inform you of the newly appointed Students Rights and Welfare Chief
Commissioner of the Xavier University-Central Student Government.

Please note that the appointee mentioned above is subject to the approval of the 21

Directorate.

Last academic year, Mr Talandig has served as the Associate StRAW Chief Commissioner. Two months
ago, he was appointed as associate department secretary of external affairs and corporate relations of XU-
CSG.

With Mr Talandigs recent appointment as StRAW Chief Commissioner, XU-CSG Department of External
Affairs and Corporate Relations currently does not have an associate secretary. Once the vacated position
will be filled in, a separate memorandum will then be issued to proclaim such appointee.

I thank Mr Daaca for taking up the cross in promoting students rights and defending students general
human welfare even just for a short while. I also thank Mr Talandig for accepting the new designation
with eagerness and enthusiasm.
