Qualification : M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry/Polymer Science preferably with experience in polymer

Emoluments : Rs 12,000 p.m. + HRA admissible

Duration : 3 years

Research proposals in the MoES format are invited from Research Institutes and Universities located
on the States of OrissaWest Bengal for consideration by the OASTC, East-Coast (Berhampur) on the
following thrust areas: (i) Coastal processes; (ii) Biodiversity in coastal ecosystems; (iii) Plankton
ecology and productivity; (iv) Coastal pollution; (v) Environmental impacts of coastal aquaculture; (vi)
Coastal microbial ecology; (vii) Socio-economic aspects of coastal ecosystems; (viii) AirSea
interactions and (ix) Benthic ecology, so as to reach the Research Coordinator, OASTC, Berhampur
University, Berhampur 760 007, Orissa on or before 20 March 2009. The proposals shall indicate
clearly defined (1) Objectives; (b) Methodology; (c) Execution protocol, and (d) Budget estimate:
Manpower, Contingencies, Travel and Equipment. The brief bio-data of the Principal Investigator and
other investigators should also be appended in the Project Proposal. The proposal can be
