FABICATION OF MATERIAL HANDELING SYSTEM THROUGH


AUTOMATION(pick and place)
ABSTRACT:

The term robot means drudge or to do menial unpleasant work. Robotics may be
defined as an applied engineering science that has been refined to as a combination of
machine tool technology and computer science. It includes such seemingly diverse
fields as machine design, control theory, microelectronics, human factors and
production theory.
Robots, which operate effectively in a changing environment, must be equipped with

sensors and have some degree of Artificial intelligence. Accordingly, a necessary


condition capable of learning about the existence of a new situation in their working
environment and this must be accomplished by adding suitable sensors, such as vision
and range detectors.
Its a machine designed to move material, part from one place to another. The robot is
having 4 wheeled chassis over which a robotic arm with 2 DOF is placed. This
machine can be controlled with DPDT switches or wirelessly through microcontroller
based remote or even through computer with software depending on choice of
customer.
