Jolyn M Beighley, 23 years of age, from Nekoosa, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State
Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 2nd offense, with 1 child in
the vehicle.

On 07-22-14, at approximately 8:52 a.m., a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper conducted a traffic stop
on a vehicle for traveling 101 m.p.h. on Interstate 94 near Northfield.

Upon approach, the Trooper detected the odor of intoxicants coming from the driver. As a result of
the roadside investigation and field sobriety testing, Ms. Beighley was arrested for operating a motor
vehicle while intoxicated 2nd offense with a minor passenger. Beighley was transported to the Black
River Memorial by the arresting Trooper for a legal blood draw. During transport Ms. Beighley
became un-cooperative and tried to kick the back window out of the Troopers cruiser causing
damage to the inside of the vehicle.

There was an approximately 3 month old infant passenger in the vehicle during the time of arrest.
The child was transported by a second Trooper to the Jackson County Sheriffs Department where
he was turned over to Jackson County Child Protective Services.

Ms. Beighley is being charged with 2nd degree reckless endangerment of a child, OWI 2nd with a
minor in the vehicle, criminal damage to property, operating while suspended, speeding 101 m.p.h.
in a 65 zone, open intoxicants, and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. She is
currently being held at the Jackson County Jail.

"Pursuant to the direction of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, as found in Supreme Court Rule 20:3.6,
Trial Publicly, you are advised that a charge is merely an accusation and that a defendant is
presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty."
