1. First Download Matlab from swdb.ucl.ac.uk.

2. Open the .exe file or for mac/Linux .zip
3. At this screen below select login and click Next.

4. Accept the Licence Agreement

5. Either create a mathworks account (using @ucl.ac.uk) or use your current one.

6. This password is not your UCL password and should be different.
7. For off site use please email isd-itpurchasing@ucl.ac.uk for theactivation key, for onsite use
please use the number, found on the matlab page under the serial field.

8. Choose Install if asked

9. Enter the installation file if asked for on site activation (not required for off site activation).
This can be found on the Software pages under matlab.

10. If asked select designated computer for off site or Network Concurrent user for on site use
11. If not enter the activation key you can fine the serial field or contact isd-
itpurchasing@ucl.ac.uk for the off site key

12. Choose your installation path

13. Select the files you want to install

14. If asked for off site activation download the network file from the software Matlab
download pages and browse for the file.

15. Carry on clicking next and install to finish the installation.
