In the Week 3 Day 5 lesson plan on Thucydides History of the Peloponnesian War students will be given abridged text based on their readiness pre- assessment that is outlined in lesson plan.
In the Apology lesson students have their content (the text) differentiated based on readiness level of reading.
In Euclid lesson, students may choose the difficulty level of the theorem that they would like to prove in the opening activity.
In the Ancient Scales lesson (more specifically the resulting set of challenges), Students are encouraged to learn each scale at their own pace; Sections get to choose with etude to focus on
Student process differentiation will be done through pre- assessments that can take the form of informal Chalk Talks (as in the Community Circle on Athens and Sparta lesson plan) or more formal Concept Attainment exercises (as in the Research Methods lesson plan).

In the Conditional Statements lesson, students may decide if they are ready to move to analysing conditional statements after categorizing them.
In the Ancient Scales lesson, students are allowed to draw/write whatever the Epitaph of Seikilos makes them think/feel and are encouraged to draw their own conclusions about the piece before coming together as a group. Students products will be differentiated in both English and Social Studies by having an entire class devoted to the development of research methods before the Symposium Project is due, as students will be called upon to conduct research for the product. Thus, students receive the differentiated individual attention necessary to complete the product.
