RELATIONSHIP OF THE LEADERSHIP STYLE OF THE HEAD ROOM WITH
THE PERFORMEN OF NURSES IN DOCUMENTATION THE NURSING PROCESS
IN GENERAL HOSPITAL OF BAU-BAU CITY 2014.

The phenomenon of this era, A Nurse into documentation nursing process to
the clien is not good with the existing standars of nursing process. A date that is
getting in the General Hospital of Bau-Bau City about 49 respondents that is 23
respondent (47,4%) the performance of that is nurses give not nursing process as by
standards of procedural operation. The goal of this research is knowing relationship
between leadership style to nursing performance in documentation nursing process
in General Hospital of Bau-Bau City.
This study was doing at April 25 until May 9, 2014. The kind of this research is
analytical by use cross sectional approach. The population in this study as many as
111 people and that sample is 49 respondents with the determination of the sample
was proportional stratified random sampling. The variables studied as like leadership
style that consists of motivation, supervision, and consultation. Date were analyzed
by using statistical test (Chi-square) and continued by Cramers test.
Based on the analysis results of statistic test obtained that has a moderate
relation between motivation style, supervision style with performance of nurses into
documentation of nursing process and that has a lose relation between consultation
style with performance of nurses into documentation nursing process.
The proposed to the Head Room for giving always motivation, supervision,
and consultation as like they giving motivation always to the nurses, it controls the
nurses when they doing them work and it is doing consultation always to the nurses
about them work for to improve performance of the nurses into documentation about
nursing process.
