AS YOU READ CHAPTER 28 This week we read Chapter 28 of The Story and learn how God can fill our hearts for others. 1. When the disciples preached about Jesus and people saw the truth, the believers started eating and praying together. The Bible says they shared everything. Do you think this was hard for Jesus followers? Prayer: God, thank you for asking us to share your Word with others. We pray we remember that it is our goal to share the everlasting love of Jesus Christ with those around us. Amen! 2. What would be the hardest thing for you to share with others? Prayer: God, we thank you for making us brothers and sisters in Christ. We pray you give us the strength to stand up to others and share your good news. Amen! 3. Why did the early Christians help each other out so much? Prayer: God, we pray we can be like those early Christians and help others who are in need. We thank you for providing for us in our lives and ask you remind us to give to those in need. Amen! 4. Do you think Christians still look for ways to share with each other? Prayer: God, we pray you help us to be courageous and share our faith with others. We ask you remind us not to be shy or embarrassed. Amen! 5. This chapter of The Story says Jesus followers had hearts that were glad and honest and true. How do you think they showed that? Prayer: God, thank you for making us with happy hearts who love you. We pray we are like the disciples and followers who had hearts that were overflowing with love for you. Amen!
