Zoom
The FVMS allows you to view the
camera full screen. The video can
be adjusted to be larger or smaller
depending on the reference.
You can also zoom into an area of
the video by drawing a box on the
camera with the mouse. The video
will zoom into that area you
selected.
Speed Adjustment
The FVMS allows you to Fast
Forward or Fast Reverse the
video at an incremental rate. The
rate is control by a sliding bar.
The FVMS plays the video back
displaying each frame that was
recorded. If the FVMS is run on a
slower computer the video may
play back slowly because it cannot
process the data quickly enough.
If this occurs simply press the
SYNC button and the FVMS will
compensate by skipping the
frames necessary to make it
appear that it is playing the video
back at the correct speed.

Purpose
- This page allows configuration of general system
parameters of Maxpro NVR SE

What can be configured?
- Recording settings like pre-event, record for and user
based recording time
- Email related general settings
- Recording recycle threshold and low alarm threshold
- Graphical representation of disk space where clips are
stored
- For scheduled recording holiday list and exception list
can be defined

Key points to remember
- Low disk space alarm is raised depending on Low
alarm threshold value
- Recording recycle threshold and low alarm threshold is
specified as percentage of total available disk space

Purpose
- Cameras to be connected to the NVR are
configured in this page
Discovery
- Digital cameras can be discovered and added in
the system by using Discover pane
General Configuration
- New Camera can be configured by specifying
name, Streamer type, Fixed/PTZ and Video
Quality setting (resolution, frame rate,
compression)
- Web client can be launched from Camera
Advanced Settings
Preview
- User can view live video from the configured
camera
- NTSC/PAL can be set for discovered and added
cameras
- Username and password can be set for PSIA
cameras.

Purpose
- Recording schedules can be added
and modified in this page

- With installation 4 preconfigured non-
editable schedules are available

Purpose
- Inputs and outputs for configured cameras
are available here

- For each Input which output to be triggered

- Send alarm monitor configuration for each
input

- Output of camera can be
activated/deactivated using On/Off buttons

- On camera addition number of Inputs and
outputs are added automatically based on
Camera type.

Sequence tab
Purpose
- Sequence allows monitoring set of cameras
repetitively with each camera video shown
for a specific dwell time

- User can associate/remove a camera from
the sequence and change the order of
camera

- User can add a PTZ camera multiple times
with a specific preset to the sequence

- User can also have combination of fixed
cameras and PTZ cameras with preset

What is it?

How to setup?
- Once cameras are configured, device tree is automatically
populated

What are key points to remember?
- Reload Device can be used to refresh communication with
Maxpro NVR Recording Engine
- Cameras will be listed in device tree based upon logged in user
privilege

What is it?

How to setup?
- Horizontal tool strip provides button
selection
- All modifications happen at the viewer workstation,
original video is not disturbed
- Multiselect panels and apply digital correction to all
of the video simultaneously
- Digital correction can be applied on live and
playback video

Salvo Views My salvo views, Shared salvo views
What is it?
- Salvo with the current cameras can be stored with
a name
- Users can save salvo views for personal use
(MySalvo), share it with the group (Shared Salvo)
How to setup?
- Drag/Drop multiple cameras into the salvo panels
- Select salvo view button on Salvo Tool strip
- Enter a unique name
- Persist digital correction
- Can hold camera, scan sequences
- Can be launched by drag, drop

Surrounding Camera
What is it?
- View video from a group of related cameras at the same
time.
- For example, when you want to view video from
cameras located in the same area
- Recursively user can pull surrounding cameras from the
same view

How to setup?
- Select the Surrounding Camera layout
- Drag drop camera in this layout and save the layout

- Select the camera in the Central panel for which you
want to associate surrounding cameras

What is it?
- Group of cameras to run one-by-one in a video panel
- Useful to group large number of cameras
- Appears as a separate tab in the viewer

the features are specific to a workstation.

- You have to make sure that your selection criteria is
appropriate
