Sheriff Lavender reports that investigators with his office in conjunction with the
U.S. 23 Task Force, the Chillicothe Police Department, and the Ohio Organized
Crime Commission conducted an undercover operation that resulted in the arrest of
two females 29 year old Kacie M. Smith and 22 year old Jacy D. Lechner. The
investigation also resulted in the seizure of cash and prescription pain killers.

The females are both being charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs.

Sheriff Lavender wants to thank all of the agencies involved for their cooperation
with this investigation to make it successful.
