Well rounded strategy produces long-term success

Leading the industry in EPS, ROE, market share, revenue and image
rating is a difficult position to retain

An industry can cannibalize profitability by driving prices too low
without properly managing production costs

Increase operating margins by lowering production costs in entry level
cameras and raising price in multi-feature cameras
Reduction in production cost should include planned quality reduction
and sequential price reductions
Increases in multi-feature price should be accompanied by quality
improvements but with focus on increased CMU
Market share may have to be sacrificed in the short term to regain per
unit profitability
Consider other ways of expanding profitability generation including
brand expansion through product licensing
