1. Practical Training Objective

The objective of this course is to master techniques of
drawing and management of technical drawings in 2D and
3D with AutoCAD. Thanks to this IT tool the students will
acquire the ability to design products and projects quickly
and clearly using modern systems in accordance with
todays needs.

2. Skills To Be Acquired

The students will acquire basic skills in the use of
AutoCAD software in 2D and 3D field by means of
creating a design of a bioclimatic house, learning about
and using bioclimatic elements such as cantilevers, green
roofs, solar thermal energy, etc.
The bioclimatic house represents a more efficient type of
housing reducing CO2 emissions.
Who is this programme for ?
This course is intended for students of
vocational training of various technical
branches
Architects
Engineers
Draftsmen
Interior designers
Mould manufacturers

4. Methodology

The training is geared towards vocational students and uses participatory
approaches as much as possible. The methodologies that will be
principally used are practical sessions (hands-on practice), individual,
small and large group work, and simulations.
Students acquisition of practical skills will be monitored and assessed
throughout the course by their tutor. Any doubts or not understood parts of
the training programme will be addressed on a daily basis in order to
facilitate the learning process and achieve the training objectives.
5. Monitoring

Participants will be under constant supervision of their tutor who will be
guiding them through the whole training process.

Tutor: D. Francisco Javier Hoyo de la Torre

Degree in Industrial Engineering with specialization in Industrial
Management and Mechanics. Polytechnic School, Universidad Alfonso X
El Sabio, Madrid.
Senior Technician of Occupational Risk
Teacher of Industrial Design.
6. Study Visits

Complex Ideal of Alcala de Guadaira (3D Design
Centre).

Complejo Ideal is a centre of the latest generation
services for companies.
During the visit to Complejo Ideal, the trainees will
be familiaried with different teqniques of industrial
desgin used in different fields, such as:
Construccion - design of a 3D bridge which we
will later have an opportunity to see in reality.
Industrial: augmented reality applied in the
advertising of cars
Health: use of 3D design to help plastic surgeons
perform operations
Prototypes: Trainees can see different prototypes
made by 3D printers
