This assignment consists of three major components: the feasibility study (which will be worth 15% of your final grade) and the oral presentation/final proposal (which will be worth a total of 25% of your final grade). Please note that the oral presentation/final proposal are two separate assignments, but must be completed together (you cannot do the oral presentation without doing the final proposal). The overarching goal of this assignment is for your group to develop a feasibility study, a proposal, and a final presentation in order to solicit staeholders for support in the creation of a community, non! profit organi"ation in Tuscaloosa or the hometown of a group member. Part I: Te Feasibility !tudy "eport #our group will need to conduct a feasibility study to collect data for the purpose of your group proposal. #our group will develop a survey instrument in which you all will solicit information from the population that will benefit from your group$s agency. #ou will need a minimum of % survey &uestions and '( participants in your group$s instrument, and those participants should be from the population that will directly benefit from your group$s agency (consider friends, roommates, members of the community, etc.). The data collected from the survey should directly inform the wor your group does in creating and structuring your group$s agency. )o, the first step of this project (after you choose an agency) is to create a survey. *fter you finish the survey, please send it to me via email. *fter + loo at it, + will mae copies for your group to give out and collect or you may put it up on surveymoney.com. #ou may want to survey people around campus or the community (if we have time/you choose to, + may allow you to leave class on some days in order to do this). *fter you get the survey results bac, you will create a report based on the surveys. The Power Point presentation is, essentially, the way in which you will present your proposal to the shareholders (played by the rest of the class). The presentation should not be more than -( slides and should only be the highlights of your project/proposal. The slides should not be read as part of the presentation, but rather should be used as references for taling points during the presentation.
