Pakistan
Geography and Demographics of Pakistan
Total population in Modern Pakistan is 196,174,380
Capital city is Islamabad
Karachi is most populous city in Pakistan.
Geography of Pakistan is diverse. It includes deserts, hills, plain,
plateaus, and forests.
Pakistan is bordered by India and Afghanistan.
Pakistan is divided into 2 major geographic areas
Northern Highlands
Indus River plains.
Culture/religion of Pakistan
Cultures are heavily influenced by Islam, and there are diverse
arts in Pakistan
Performance arts of Pakistan is very famous due to unique
and various ethnic culture of the performers
Literatures such as poems are one of the famous part of
culture in Pakistan.
Religion is mainly Islam, and there are about 2 %of other
religions.

Economy/Trade of Pakistan
Pakistan relies heavily on foreign goods, and supports.
Average per capita income per person is about $460.
Textile and agriculture have important role of agriculture in
the overall economy of the country.
Pakistan exports cotton, textile goods, rice, leather items, and
handicrafts, Spices, Tea
Pakistans major trade partners are U.S, Japan, Hong Kong,
United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates.
Architecture of Pakistan
Many Architectures of Pakistan are influenced by Islam, and
as country got modernized, theyve added modern architect
style into traditional one.
The best example is Shah Faisal Mosque.
There are many ancient buildings left among the modern
ones.







India
Geography and Demographics of India
Total Population of India is 1,236,344,631
life expectancy is about 67.8
Covers most of the Indian Sub-continent in Southern Asia.
India has second largest population in the world.
India is bordered by Bangladesh, Bhutan, Burma, China, Nepal, and
Pakistan.
India is divided into 3 main regions
Himalayan region (north)
Indo-Gangetic Plain
Plateau region(south/center)



Culture/Religion of India
Main Religion in India is Hinduism, and there are other
religions such as Islam or Buddhism, but they only take about
15 percent of the Indian religion.
Because there are 28 states and seven territories, there are
diverse languages in India. But national language is Only
Hindi.
Indian foods are influenced by Arab, Turkish, and Europe.

Economy/Trade of India
Economy of India is very fluent and big.
India became 6

largest service exporter in the world
Indias exports and Imports are well balanced enough that the
economy is stable.
India is crucial trade partner of Europe
Because India is worlds largest Diamonds and gem polishing
manufacturing center, they do import a lot of gold and gems
from other country.
Their textiles are mainly used for exports.
Architecture of India
There arent specific forms of architectures in India because
there were many dynasties and empires with different cultures.
There are various types of architectures such as Colonial
architecture, and Indo-Islamic architecture.
There is a popular architectural form called Nagara.






Bangladesh
Geography and Demographics of Bangladesh
Bangladeshs total population is about 159.5 million.
About 98% of the populations are Bengalis, and other 2% are
left out ethnic tribes.
Bangladesh lies within Delta formed by Ganges and
Brahmputra rivers.
Most of the lands are flat and plain, and there is annual
monsoon season which causes flood.
Culture/religion of Bangladesh
Bangladeshs culture is based on Islam, and Most popular
religion is also Islam.
Their life style and clothing styles are heavily influenced by
Islamic culture
Food is mainly rice and fish.
Language is called Bangla

Economy/Trade of Bangladesh
About 75% of workforces are heavily involved in agriculture.
And rest of the workforces are involved in other service and
industrial company.
Majority of rural area is full of workers who are involved in
agriculture.
As a trade, Bangladesh sends out Jute, fish, garments, and
textiles.
Architecture of Bangladesh
Architecture of Bangladesh is also influenced by the Islamic
religion.
Because of the fact that the country is small, most of the
buildings and architectures are small and spaced out equally.
Many historical buildings have influence of Moghul empire.






Afghanistan
Geography of Afghanistan
Total population is about 31,822,848
And life expectancy in Afghanistan is 50 years.
Afghanistan is landlocked (surrounded by lands) country
which is located at the central trade route between north-
south and east-west trade routes
Kabul is the capital city and the largest one.
There are plains, and mountainous areas in Afghanistan.

Cultures/Religion of Afghanistan
Afghanistans main language is Pashto, and Persian(Dari).
Religion of Afghanistan is Islam and both Sunnis and Shiites
respects the five pillar of Islam.
Just like other Islamic country, Religion influenced their
clothing styles and food. Also Friday prayer is part of their
culture
Arts of Afghanistan were fluent until Taliban banned the
whole artistic expression.
Economy/Trade of Afghanistan
Economy of Afghanistan depends of animal husbandry, and
agriculture.
Their fluent production of cotton allowed them to export
cottons to other nations.
Afghanistan produces only few commercial goods, so there
arent so much to export.
Their trade items are Hides, wool, dried/fresh Fruits.

Architecture of Afghanistan
There were few historical architectural sites, but due to war,
they were collapsed or destroyed.
But before the war, there were diverse architectural cities such
as Ghazni, Herat, and Balkh.
There is a Buddha statues of Bamyan, but it was damaged
due to war.
