As per BoE meeting dated July 10, 2014 vide Resolution No. D-1 a committee was formed to
review the examination Rule No. 5.5 ATKT for 2 year / 3 year / 4 year and 5 year programmes
conducted by SIU. The committee had a meeting on September 16, 2014 and has given
recommendations. The recommendations are to be implemented in October 2014 examination
season for all batches of Under Graduate programmes admitted from the academic year 2012 &
and all batches of Post Graduate programme admitted from the academic year 2013.
Amendment to ATKT Rule

ATKT Rule for 2 year & 2 Years program:

He/she cannot appear for end Semester - 3 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 2.000 upto
Semester 1 irrespective of number of backlogs.

He/she cannot appear for end Semester - 4 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 2.000 upto
Semester 2 irrespective of number of backlogs.

He/she cannot appear for end Semester - 5 exams if he/she has CGPA less than 2.000 upto
Semester 3 irrespective of number of backlogs.
