1 Introduction
Our first Project helped us learn the basics of 3D CAD modeling. We made three
basic parts.

2 Problem Statement
We had to create three basic 3D models using the guidelines in the Pro/
Engineer Tutorial Book

3 Result

3.1 Part A

(a) (b)
This is Part A shown from two different views, (a) and (b)

This was a simple part that introduced us to simple sketching, extruding, cutting,
fillets and chamfers.

3.1 Part B

(a) (b)
This is Part A shown from two different views, (a) and (b)

This part showed us how to create rotated parts, mirroring, and reinforced the
skills learned in Part A.

3.2 Part C

(a) (b)
This is Part A shown from two different views, (a) and (b)

Part C taught us how to create patterns, create other planes for sketching, and other
extrusion techniques.

4 Discussion
I feel that the tutorial book is a terrible teacher and rarely helpful. I will try out the
tutorial videos next time.

5 Conclusion
This project helped me learn multiple basic skills and techniques for using Pro/Engineer.
I now feel more comfortable using it.
