Physical Therapy Innovations El Cerrito/Albany, CA August 2014 - Current
Helping physical therapists in both the office and aquatic therapy in working with patients and around the office. In the office I assist with cleaning up patient areas and scribing information for the therapists. In aquatic therapy I assist the patients with equipment and helping the therapist with patient care in leading exercises.
Lab of Dr. Nachman Tucson, AZ Spring 2013 Semester Supported professors research by taking care of mice as part of experiments being conducted in the lab. Also conducted my own experiment using the skulls of deceased mice to see if there was a difference in bone structure based on region. Papaj Greenhouse Fall 2011 Semester Tucson, AZ Helped in the greenhouse by removing pests from plants to keep them healthy. Mated the plants to obtain colors that have been declining in numbers. Fed butterflies and helped conduct an experiment looking at their preference for flower color and imported results into Excel.
OTHER EXPERIENCE Hall Leadership Team, Arizona-Sonora Dormitory 2010-2011 Tucson, AZ Worked on team with fellow residents to design educational and social related activities for dorm-wide residents. Attended RHA held events to represent our dorm and participated in sessions with other dorms RHAs involving planning, leadership skills, and team building.
