This is a questionnaire to gather information on the location, costume and props that should be used
in an Indie-Pop music video according to the target audience of females aged 16-24 years old. The
elements in this survey have been used due to previous genre research which implied that some of
these locations, props and costumes are frequently used, the videos I used to do genre research and
therefore add these elements to this mise en scene survey were "Kate Nash- Foundations", "The
Kooks- Naive" and "Foxes- Let Go For Tonight".

In conclusion to these results from my target audience I have decide that my music video will be
shot in several locations including fields and a school. I have also decided that the artist
and overall music video will be shot through neutral colours like whites and light blues,
this is because my song choice is about innocence and freedom, of which these colours
represent. Also the artist and characters starring in the music video will wear casual day
wear to show the normality of them and abolish Hyperreality, I may also incorporate a
ball gown or glamorous outfit into the music video as this option also scored highly in the
questionnaire. All the prop answers scored similarly therefore I will try and incorporate all
of the suggestions.
