1. The article that I summarized was Verizon to pay $7.4 M to settle US privacy probe. In this
article, the FCC, federal regulator of telecom companies, said that Verizon failed to notify
about two million new customers of their privacy rights, including how to remove their
personal information used in marketing campaigns.

2. Two other articles that I found on privacy were The police body -cam peep show: are you
ready to give up your privacy, too? and Celebrities are fools to use apple products. The two
search engines I used were Yahoo.com and Bing.com. The better search engine to me was
Bing.com. The reason I thought Bing was better was that it gave me more of a variety of
websites to choose from. Also, the articles on privacy in technology were more up to date in
Bing.

3. The article that I will evaluate is Celebrities are fools to use apple products. Time: The article
was written on September 8, 2014. Relevance: It is related to the topic on privacy. Authority:
The author of the article is Rob Enderle, a TechNewsWorld columnist and the principal analyst.
Accurate: The author writes for Enderle Group, a consultancy that focuses on personal
technology products and trends. Purpose: This article was written to inform.

4. The two scholarly journal articles that I found were, Protecting Human Health and Security in
Digital Europe: How to Deal with the Privacy Paradox? and When does surveillance art
cross the Line? The keywords that I used to find these articles were privacy in technology.
The database I used was the Academic Search Premier from the CCBC library.

5. Between the Internet and Journal articles, I got to the Internet articles the fastest. The articles
were all written recently within the same time period. The two Internet articles were written by
professional columnist, and the two journal articles were found on the article and research
database of the CCBC library site, a trustworthy academic site.
