The Apple Pie Filling...........

2 1/2 ibs (6 medium) apples, peeled, cored and slices 1/4 inch thick (I used granny smiths)
1 Tbsp. resh lemon !uice
1/4 cup packed light bro"n sugar
1/4 cup castor sugar
1/2 # 1 1/2 tsp gorun cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg po"der
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
1 Tbsp. $ 1 tsp cornstarch
%eore making the pie illing, roll out one hal o the pastry and line a pie pan. &rap and rerigerate or at
