Sales Vs Marketing - Dont ever talk about Sales being only a part of Marketing (if its a

Sales guy on your panel he will screw you) rather talk about how Sales is BTL and
Marketing is ATL and how they compliment each other (i.e, one cant survive without
other)
ATL vs BTL - By now you should use these words in your regular conversation if you are
talking about some marketing campaign. ATL activities pull people while BTL pushes
products on people
Fav Brand - Find that one brand that you have an emotional connect with, get personal
when this question is asked why do you hold this brand with such fondness, once you
have established this then talk about the journey of the brand, its history what worked,
what didnt work etc (if you dont have this answer ready, make, beg or steel but do it as
soon as possible)
Best/Worst Ad Campaigns - I am assuming this must be covered in the crashers
GTM - You should have a step by step template for a "go to market strategy" by now
Sell me this pen - as cliched as it sounds this is one of the most frequently asked
questions (not pen per se); the approach to this is
Step 1 - Ask questions about the customer,
Demographic - what does he do, where is he from, (make assumptions about his lifestyle
- say things like you look like a guy who reads a lot etc)
Hobbies & Preferences - What do you do in your spare time? (ask a question that might
connect him with the product you are selling)
Step 2 - Sell the product
Now introduce the product, talk about it, describe its characteristics and connect it with
the customer, talk about how he needs it.
