Our Focus in PE will be to:

Attend classes and regularly participate in physical activity.


Develop the knowledge & skills for a wide range of group activities, games and tness drills
Develop the skills and attitudes that will enable you to value, attain a healthy, active lifestyle.
What to expect in PE class:
Learning new sports and skills.
Working together in teams and in groups.
Understanding the benets of an active lifestyle.
Developing your english skills through active communication.
Having fun, being active and making new friends.

50% Participation
Are you in uniform? Proper footwear?

20% Fitness Test
Three tness tests throughout the year.
One in the beginning, middle and end of the semester.
Sit ups, 12 minute run and push ups/burpee test
15% Skill Test
At the end of the unit you will be tested on skills learned.
15% Assignment, Quizzes & Reective Journals
You will be tested on sports theory at the end of the unit.
Journal entries about your PE experiences

IMPORTANT! If you miss class due to illness you must have an EXCUSED ABSENCE!
If you have 10 absences during a term you will receive an I meaning incomplete.
