Removing Default Grid from the New Drawing in AutoCAD

From AutoCAD 2011 onwards by default when we start AutoCAD application the Grid
lines appears on drawing screen. Every user is putting the grid off by pressing F7 key or
switching it off from the status bar. Many users are irritated with it. Let us see how to
remove it.
When you start a New drawing AutoCAD, you get a dialog box to select the template file.
Let us go with acad.dwt.
Open acad.dwt file and Switch off the Grid.
Save the file and close it. When you start a new drawing again select the same template,
you start a drawing with grid switched off.
We can even set the default template file for new drawings creation.
Go to Options i.e. Type OP and Press Enter at the command prompt or Right click on
the drawing screen and select Options
In the Options dialog box, Select Files Tab and Set the Path for Default Template File
