Jinkee Pacquiao breaks her silence by Ingrid Villafuerte

Manny Pacquiao may have made history as the only boxer to win in seven different weight divisions, but he made
headlines for an entirely different reason late last month. Newspapers
and talk shows were abuzz with his alleged affair with sexy star Krista
Ranillo, while wife Jinkee chose to spare only very few words about
the issue. But this January 2010, Jinkee finally breaks her silence,
sitting down with YES! magazine for an exclusive tell-all interview.
People may have thought of Jinkee as the clueless wife who is always
last to know, but she dispels that notion as she tells YES!, "Alam ko
naman, e. Kasi hindi ko naman dapat ipagkaila na mayroon talagang
nangyari, kasi buong bayan or lahat ng tao, alam nila. Hindi naman
puwedeng ako lang ang walang alam."
While any other wife would want to confront her husband immediately
about the rumors, Jinkee decided to hold off any talks about their
marital problems since Manny was preparing for a big fight, and the
nation's pride was at stake.
"Hindi puwedeng mag-usap kayo sa problema pag may fight... hindi
puwede, e, kasi maapektuhan 'yong fight niya," she points out.
A Pacquiao insider confirms this with YES!, saying, "Inisip [ni Jinkee],
baka mamaya mawala sa mood, matalo—siya ang sisihin ng mga tao.
Kawawa nga, e."
The historic fight against Miguel Cotto has passed for Manny, but
Jinkee continues to fight for her love and her marriage, finally airing
her pent-up emotions and setting the record straight only in YES! this January 2010.
Aside from featuring the Pacquiaos' $2.5M home in Los Angeles' Millionaire's Row, YES! also paints a picture of the
entire Jinkee-Manny-Krista story.
Krista was not ready to air her side of the issue, but her friend Dennis Evangelista talks to YES! in Krista's defense.
"Tinext ko siya, sabi ko, 'Whatever it is, kailangan i-defend mo ang sarili mo,'" he tells YES! Out of everything that he
and Krista had talked about, one thing is clear: "She's denying it," Dennis says, "Hindi daw totoo."
