Year Long Project
Approx. 2 1/2 minute long Animated Short
Stylised animation inspired by Japanese Art and Paper
decorations
Minor Project involves
- nalised concepts, animal characters modelled,
rigged, skinned, ready to animate
- texturing experiments, including animated texturing
Story Premise
Set inside a Japanese Antique shop - When the
clock strikes midnight, a wall of fans open up,
causing the paintings to come to life, and are able
to leave their paper worlds.
One night, a Crane that lives in a large fan, takes
away one of the Koi Carp swimming in another
fan. The remaining sh jumps out of his fan and
travels through various paper worlds (fans, paper
lanterns, etc) to save his love.
