Reaching sOUTH SUDAN

& Northern Uganda

The Witter Family
Dear Pastors, Praying Friends, and
Family,
Since our last update, there have
been some developments that will
affect us somewhat going into next
year.

JANUARY TRIP
The Pyle family has come off the
field for an unspecified amount of
time. With this being the case, I am
planning to stay in Africa in January
(following my time on the West
Coast Baptist College Uganda trip)
and teach a week at South Sudan
Independent Baptist Institute.
If the Lord allows, I will also spend
some time in northern Uganda for
possible training of future pastors. If
you remember from our video, the
radio station in Moyo, Uganda, has
been effective in reaching people
with the Gospel, and there is a real
need to start churches in the areas
where this station is heard.

SUMMER TRIP
We would still like to take a
trip as a family next summer.
Without the Pyle family there,
the visit would be a little
different from what we had
originally planned; however, we
believe it would be important
because it would
1) Provide valuable cultural
exposure for our family
2) Be an opportunity for
one or two sessions of
Institute training for pastors
who have been coming to
South Sudan
Independent Baptist
Institute
3) Give more opportunity to
be in the needy area in
northern Uganda.
If the Lord should lead you to
give
toward
the
costs
associated with these journeys
to Africa (Institute expenses,
travel, lodging, etc) it would
certainly be a great blessing to
us.

SOUTH SUDAN
GOVERNMENT
The political instability in South
Sudan has continued as neither
the current government nor the
rebel forces have agreed on
terms
for
a
transitional
government. These fighting
factions
have
had
very
unfortunate consequences for
the people, including the fact
that many have left for refugee
camps in other countries.

PRAYER
Would you continue to pray
with us and for us as we seek to
go to these two African
countries? Pray for peace and
stability in South Sudan and for
this country to remain open to
the Gospel. Please pray as well
for our needed monthly
support and that God would
supply the funds for the 2015
trips.
