Each group will be given only 20 minutes to present their topic.

Another 5 minutes will be given for question and answer from the lecturer and from the
other classmates.
One week after the presentation, each group should submit the report/write-up of the
topic presented to the module co-coordinator. This write-up will be compiled and
corrected before it can be used as one of your revision notes.
Marks will be given based on the presentation and write-up contents.

Define wound healing. Discuss the process involved in the wound healing.
Describe the wound healing at the dentogingival junction after NSPT
Group B
Discuss the causes of gingival recession
Group C
Discuss the type and the treatment of bone defect
Group D
How would you assess the outcome after NSPT

Group E
Why do you refer any periodontal patients for surgical therapy. What are the factors for
you to consider in referring patient for periodontal surgery
