Anti-Semitic incidents. The word Anti-Semitic means prejudice or hatred of
Jews. Holocaust denial includes; that the German Nazi Party had no
intention neither policy to exterminate or murdered Jews, the Nazi
authorities did not use extermination camps and gas chambers to mass
murder Jews, and that the actual number of Jews that were killed, six
million, is exaggerated or is lower than the historically record. The
methodologies of history deniers based their believes in predetermined
conclusions that ignore the historical evidence impressed and recorded. In
the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum accurately explain the reality
and exact definition of the longest hatred against Jews. Following many
centuries of persecution and exclusion, the Jewish minority in Europe
achieved some rights after the Enlightenment. As Europe became more
secular and Jews integrated into mainstream society, political forms of AntiSemitism emerged. The purpose of these educational articles and websites
is to help people learn about fighting prejudice, responding to genocide,
religion, and identity. In recent years, there has been an increase in antiSemitism in the form of hate speech, violence, denial, and distortion of the

wiped off the map, as The Washington Post states. I strongly believe that
Holocaust denial is a social issue that needs to be stop and Holocaust
advocates need to demonstrate the ongoing past to law, faith, and introduce
the reality of this mass murdered of an ethnicity group. As the Nobel
laureate Elie Wiesel warned years ago, to forget a holocaust is to kill twice,

believe everything that is presented to us; through social media, newspapers,

history distortion, articles, and in many other communication ways that
exist. People distort and negate the Holocaust because of many reasons, but
the main principles of this effect are; reduce sympathy to Jews, undermine
the legitimacy of the State of Israel, plant seeds of doubt about Jews, and
draw attention to particular issues, U.S Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Holocaust denial and distortion is prevalent from the Internet, because of its
easy access and dissemination. For me, Holocaust denial is an assault on
understanding, truth, and history. Comprehension of the past is what makes
our future a better place to live be and live, and it completes our goal cycle.
It is important to be aware of any kind of social issue thats proceeding in
our nation or/and in other countries. History is an important element that
consists of all our background and records that expose every nations
challenges with one purpose, be remembered. My main point or idea to
combat this social problem is to lighten the real facts; cause and effect of the
Holocaust, without exaggeration or distortion. Anti-Semitism comes from a
wide problem that has been present in society since the start of times, racism
or race-hatred. Discrimination will always be present in our society for one
reason, people is so closed mind that they oppress to their beliefs so hard
that they dont see beyond reality. I believe that we can change
discrimination against Jews and other ethnicities by accepting everyone
equally without using stereotypes, vocabulary, and racist comments. We
incriminate our own government for not doing their job, but are we doing
our job as citizens? Do we respect others beliefs, racial ethnicities, religions,
and thoughts? We dont. Therefore, we need to learn how to put in practice
respect and acceptance. In other words, Holocaust denial is just another
example of discrimination and incognizant ideals of people not pleased with

reality, government decisions and laws, and history. Therefore, to end

Holocaust denial we need to inform ourselves with accurate information of
what really happened during World War 2, the Nazi Party, and the Jews, and
stop basing our beliefs with discriminating ideals. The Holocaust happened
between 1933 to 1945 because of ingrained anti-Semitism both in Germany
and other conquered countries, compounded by propaganda and the
resources of a powerful state, and under the encouragement of powerful
political leaders.
