Mr. Whole Note Takes A Walk
1. Objectives:
a. Students will be able to play the four notes (E, D, C, E) without errors
in fingerings.
2. Activities/strategies/review:
a. Before playing the piece, I will ask the students to finger the first note,
and say out loud the fingering for that note.
b. Once we have performed, I will give brief feedback on what we need
to improve.
c. If time allows, we will play this three times.

Walk It Down/Walk It Up
1. Objectives:
a. Students will be able to play five notes (G, F, E, D, C) without errors
in fingerings.
2. Activities/strategies/review:
a. Before playing, I will ask students to finger the notes as I say them.
b. We will perform this at q=70.
c. Once we have performed, I will give brief feedback on what we need
to improve.
d. If time allows, we will play down two times, and up two times.

a. Remind students that Friday is their chair test, and it will be over Walk it
Down/Walk it Up.
b. Review with students what their individual needs are.
