Sept 2013 Current.
Responsible for the development of my current role, Process Improvement Liaison for
Ambulatory EHR, within Mercy Healths Informatics department.
Ability to analysis a variety of metrics (Quality, RVUs/productivity, EHR, etc.), as they support,
identifying and goal setting for areas of opportunity within the ambulatory care system.
Observation and piloting of EHR supportive tools, such as, Dragon, Macros, Right Fax, scribes,
etc.
Responsible for mapping ambulatory care work flows as they relate to the electronic health
record (EHR).
Responsible for identifying: gaps, barriers, and/or areas of improvement as they relate to the
EHR.
Facilitation, participation, and leading of various meetings.
Daily interactions with primary care physicians, office managers, and office staff.
Project development (Primary care staffing model, Physician dashboards, etc.)
Knowledgeable regarding the current and future demands facing ambulatory care practices (i.e,
Patient-Centered Medical Home, Meaningful Use, Pay for Performance, future primary care
physician shortages, technology, Joint Commission, CMS, patient volume, etc.)
Strong communication skills and an ability to build key relationships within the ambulatory office
sites.

Responsible for implementation of the organizations Infection Prevention and Control Plan.
Collect and analyze data to identify infection control issues.
Act on identified issues to control and/or prevent healthcare associated infections.
Maintain survey readiness in the acute care and ambulatory care settings and implement
mandated changes by multiple different agencies, such as, JACHO, CMS, MIOSHA, and CDC.

the bariatric data retrieval process, improving patient follow-up documentation from a 20% return
rate to a 90% return rate.
